Why talent is more important than hard work...

Who says training is more important than talent? yeah, Joke Silva right? One even heard Davido saying "hard work beats talent". Imagine!
Don't be fooled - talent beats hard work any day, every day. Who needs to work hard when talent can pay all the bills?

Hop out of bed, put on something (or nothing), and head to the bank.

Ask the manager.

pull up your sagging pants.

Draw a chair and sit.

Ask to withdraw a million bucks.

'But you have no account with us sir'

'Oga banker, mo wa talented, yes, mo wa gifted...'

Don't mind the over-zealous security guys. Hope you didn't lose a tooth?

Mourinho warns Real Madrid: Hazard will cost €140m, each leg

The Liga giants are reportedly weighing up a move for the Belgian but the Chelsea boss does not think his talisman is interesting in leaving Stamford Bridge

Jose Mourinho has warned Real Madrid that Eden Hazard would cost "£100 million, each leg" if the Spanish giants plan on bidding for the Belgian.

Madrid Castilla coach Zinedine Zidane revealed his admiration for the No.10 this week, adding that he is "keeping an eye on" the player as reports of Real's interest ahead of the summer transfer window grew.

When asked by reporters how much Hazard would cost, Mourinho replied: "£100m (€140m) each leg, because he's very young.

"If [Real Madrid] want him I think I would be the first one to know because my relationship with the president and with the CEO doesn't give space for something to happen behind me.

"I trust them completely. If they want him, they get on the phone and call me to tell me they want him."

Mourinho insisted on Friday that Hazard, who is the leading candidate for the PFA Player of the Year award, was not interested in moving to Santiago Bernabeu, adding that the Chelsea model suits him far better.

He said: "We are not the kind of group that is looking for somebody to be special, for somebody to be more than the others. This is not our culture. I think [Hazard] doesn't belong to that culture too.

"He knows that he's a special player for us and that we need him to be decisive, but he's such a normal boy that he doesn't belong to that glamour. He wants to be a special player and a normal person.

"Eden is in a state of mind, and a tactical approach, where this season we have won matches because of him and have not lost because of him. He is a talented player that understands what the team needs.

"He's a fantastic boy. A golden boy. The way he behaves, the way he respects people, even the way he respects opponents ... He doesn't cheat, he doesn't dive. Nothing.

Cristiano Ronaldo schools 16-year-old Martin Odegaard in Real Madrid training

Cristiano Ronaldo decided to let Martin Odegaard know who was the boss in training by producing some silky skill to embarrass the youngster

It was announced this morning that 16-year-old wonderkid Martin Odegaard had been called up to the Real Madrid first team.
It's speculated that the young Norwegian international could make his debut for Madrid against Almeria on Wednesday night.
Despite regularly training with the senior squad, it is the first time Odegaard has been named in Carlo Ancelotti's squad since Los Blancos fended off global interest to sign the midfielder.
Since his move to the Bernabeu, Odegaard has been playing with the club's Castilla side in the third tier of Spanish football.
Having initially struggled to settle, Odegaard was axed by boss Zinedine Zidane earlier this month for reportedly refusing to train with the youth squad.
But due to a string of injuries Ancelotti has decided to give the youngster his chance with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Being the new kid on the block comes with it's problems, there's no way Cristiano Ronaldo is going to let you have it easy in training.
In the above clip Odegaard shares a couple of passes with the Portgual international before Ronny teases him with some skill.

Chicharito's Real Madrid future will be decided at the end of the season - Ancelotti

The on-loan Manchester United striker has impressed the Italian with his professionalism after restricted opportunities at the Santiago Bernabeu

Carlo Ancelotti will not fast-track a decision on the future of Javier Hernandez at Real Madrid despite his impressive recent form.
Chicharito has grasped his recent opportunity, created by an injury to Karim Benzema, with both hands – netting a late winner as Madrid edged out Atletico 1-0 in the Champions League quarter-finals before scoring twice in Sunday's 4-2 success at Celta Vigo.
The Mexican, on a season-long loan from Manchester United, has spoken of his delight at playing for the European champions but Ancelotti is willing to wait until the summer before deciding whether to try to keep him at the Santiago Bernabeu.
He said at Tuesday’s press conference: "The future of Chicharito will be evaluated at the end of the season.
"I have liked all year his professionalism and, when he got the chance, he has exploited it. For a coach to have players that are always ready is a positive.
“Everyone is very happy with Chicharito. I hope it stays that way.”

Madrid go into the round 34 fixture at home to Almeria on Wednesday two points behind table-toppers Barcelona and Ancelotti concedes his men will have to win all their remaining games to stand any realistic chance of winning La Liga.
"It's a point in the season where every game is life and death," he added. "We are preparing with this thought. It will, therefore, be a very exciting period.
"A draw against Almeria will not mean goodbye but it will complicate life. In the Liga we have to win all the games that are left.
"We have a tough schedule, the games are difficult but we are confident that we can do well. Apart from the injured players, the team is fresh. We can compete in every game, we're not thinking about what Barcelona do.
"Almeria have changed their style a bit, they play with more possession, faster. All the teams fighting against relegation will play with enthusiasm and desire and we have to take that into account."
In addition to Chicharito, Ancelotti also took time to praise James Rodriguez , another summer arrival who has impressed.
"James has been able to surprise people, he has had a very good season," he said. "I am delighted, because he has helped the team a lot, with great humility.
"Much depends on the character of the person. They need to adapt very quickly but some need more time, especially young people. They need to get used to the pressure that comes with playing for this team."
Ancelotti has included teenage prodigy Martin Odegaard in the squad for Wednesday's game and hinted there will also be a place in the starting XI for winger Jese.
He confirmed Keylor Navas will start in goal but Gareth Bale and Benzema continue to be sidelined through injury.
"We believe Bale could be able to play against Sevilla [on Saturday]. On Tuesday and Wednesday he will continue to do individual work. If that goes well he will play in Seville. Karim will start training with the team on Sunday."

Terry: I'm not the best defender, Cahill is

The centre-back has been left out of the starting XI by Jose Mourinho at times this season but his captain feels that his displays in big matches prove his worth

John Terry does not believe that he is the best English defender, insisting that Chelsea team-mate Gary Cahill is better than he is.
The duo were both named in the PFA Team of the Year on Sunday and many argue that Terry remains the strongest centre-back in England.
But the former England captain says that Cahill is the best defender available to national team coach Roy Hodgson, despite Jose Mourinho leaving him out of the Chelsea side at times this season.
"Gary is a big character. He was obviously disappointed to be left out of the Chelsea side a few months ago but he has come back and taken his chance again," Terry he told reporters.
"He has been different class and is England's best centre-back. For me, he has been brilliant all season long.
"The manager has taken him out and stuff but, for me, he has been playing at a very high level. In the big games, he has a lot of experience and he steps up to the plate."

Queen Latifah has said that she doesn’t see being gay or lesbian as a “character flaw”.

The 45-year-old, who has never publically spoken about sexuality, believes society and the black community need to less antiquated.

she said: “People’s ideas in general are antiquated when it comes to who you love. We haven’t moved as quickly as we probably should.

Chelsea's Eden Hazard named PFA Player of the Year

The Belgium winger has inspired the Blues to what will surely be their fifth English top-flight title and beats off competition from David De Gea and Harry Kane, among others.

Chelsea winger Eden Hazard has been named the PFA Player of the Year, beating stiff competition from Manchester United's David De Gea and Tottenham's Harry Kane.

Hazard has played a pivotal role in Chelsea's march to the Premier League title this season, scoring 13 goals and laying on eight assists.

While some of his team-mates have fallen out of form in 2015 - suficiently so, in the case of Cesc Fabregas, to fall out of the PFA Team of the Year - Hazard has maintained the high level of form which he showed in the first half of the campaign.

Last weekend he scored the decisive goal against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge, which finally killed off Louis van Gaal's faint hopes of winning the title, which came a week after laying on a late, important winner for Fabregas at Queens Park Rangers.

His eye-catching skills and important goals have given him the edge over his Premier League colleagues, including De Gea and Kane.

The United goalkeeper has been crucial to his team's progression this season, particularly in the early months when he made a number of spectacular saves to help bail out a creaky defence as Van Gaal experimented with the team he inherited from David Moyes.

Tottenham striker Kane provided the most impressive competition for Hazard. The 21-year-old has scored 30 goals - 20 in the Premier League - in a stunning breakthrough season at White Hart Lane.

The Englishman has been a central member of Mauricio Pochettino's Spurs project and he earned his first international call-up earlier this season as a result.

Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho, Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez and Chelsea striker Diego Costa, who has been hampered by injuries and suspensions in 2015, were also nominated for the award.

Wenger: I regret selling Fabregas

The Arsenal boss has revealed his frustration at allowing the midfielder to leave for Barcelona four years ago, but hopes fans respect him in Sunday's clash with Chelsea.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has admitted he regrets allowing Cesc Fabregas to leave but has called on fans to respect the Chelsea midfielder on Sunday.

The 27-year-old left the Emirates Stadium in 2011 for Barcelona but - after struggling to nail down a place in the first team - he returned to the Premier League last summer under Jose Mourinho's tutelage.

Wenger has in the past suggested he doesn't wish he had tried to swoop for Fabregas rather than allow the Blues, who are on the verge of becoming English champions, to take the Spaniard but he has not conceded he wish he had not sold him in the first place.

"My regret is him leaving here," the Frenchman told reporters. "But I want every player to be respected."

Wenger also suggested he expects star attacker Alexis Sanchez to give the likes of Eden Hazard, Harry Kan, Diego Costa, David de Gea and Philippe Coutinho a run for their money in the Player of the Year awards.

"It's Alexis's first season so he will compete very closely with Hazard for Player of the Year," Wenger added.

Alexis has enjoyed a superb debut season at the Emirates following his €40 million move from Barcelona, scoring 22 goals in all competitions and providing 11 assists, while Hazard has sparkled for Chelsea, hitting 18 goals and laying on 14 assists.

Henry hits out at Chicharito: He should have thanked Ronaldo

The on-loan Manchester United striker netted the winner to dump Atletico Madrid out of the Champions League but opted to celebrate without his team-mates straight away.

Thierry Henry has criticised Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez for not immediately celebrating with Cristiano Ronaldo after scoring Real Madrid's winner against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.

The on-loan Manchester United striker swept the ball home from close range after being set up by Ronaldo but the Mexican wheeled away towards the fans on his own, while his Madrid team-mates followed alongside the Portugal star.

Henry has hit out at Chicharito for celebrating "like he won the World Cup" and insists the 26-year-old should have been quicker to acknowledge Ronaldo's run and pass.

"I don't know about his future there. To be fair to him, he doesn't usually play. Tonight was his opportunity and we don't even know if he's going to play after that," Henry told Sky Sports.

"He had a couple of chances in the game before that but I can tell you he can thank Ronaldo tonight. I know he went on to celebrate alone and everything but he can thank Ronaldo. For me, he has to.

"That is, for me, Ronaldo's goal. What I don't like after [the goal] is it seems like he won the World Cup [with his celebration]. Turn around and celebrate with Ronaldo."

Getting aid to a war zone in a swarm of drones

How do you deliver food and medicine to people in an area where a cargo plane would be shot down? It was a question that kept US Air Force pilot Mark Jacobsen awake at night after he met Syrian refugees in Turkey. Then he had an idea - a swarm of tiny drones, each delivering 1kg or 2kg at a time.

On an airfield in Sacramento a group of aircraft enthusiasts make noisy toy helicopters perform stunts in the air. US army vehicles sit nearby. It's a baking hot California afternoon, everyone is wearing caps and chasing children to smear sun cream on them as they stare up at the sky.
But next to the regulars is another group, testing custom-built drones. They catapult them into the air at regular intervals and make them circle repeatedly for kilometer after kilometer.
There is something different about this crowd. Along with the drone-flying geeks and their computers are Syrian and Iraqi refugees, girls in hijabs and an injured man in a wheelchair, who has only recently landed in California from Iraq.
And then their aircraft are all in the same colours - red, black, green and white.

The reason? These drones are made to fly into Syria, carrying vital aid to people in towns and villages besieged and deliberately deprived of food and medicine by one or other of the warring groups.
It's the deeply personal project of 33-year-old Mark Jacobsen, whose meeting with refugees in Turkey 13 months ago was nothing short of life-changing.
"What I experienced there is more real to me than almost anything else," he says, pausing for a drink of water and to allow a choking wave of emotion to pass.
"I just think a lot of people go through their daily lives not really thinking about what they're doing. And being over there and seeing this really epic struggle - doctors risking their lives to smuggle medical supplies, stories of people who were literally watching their children starve to death - coming back from that, nothing seemed important."
The goal of this project is huge - "to end starvation and medical deprivation as weapons of war". The concept of "swarming airlift", if it works, is one that can potentially be used not only in Syria but anywhere a transport aircraft - such as the C-17 Jacobsen flies for the US Air Force - would be at risk from anti-aircraft fire.
Unlike a big expensive drone, these little drones would be barely worth shooting down - and if they were, they could be quickly and cheaply replaced.
What Mark and his team eventually want to achieve is a conveyer belt of drones, taking off from Turkey, flying into Syria under cover of darkness and parachuting small boxes of aid at GPS co-ordinates agreed with contacts on the ground.

Mourinho: Wenger is not my rival

The Blues manager has yet to taste defeat in his 12 games against the Frenchman thus far, but he insists he sees no need to compete with the Gunners manager ahead of their clash.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has insisted he does not see Arsenal counterpart Arsene Wenger as a rival.

The two managers have a history of sharing jibes, but the Portuguese insists that he sees no need to compete with the Gunners boss as he prepares his side to face their London rivals this weekend.

"For me, he's not my rival," he told reporters. "I don't feel that. He's a manager of a big club in a city where I work and live with the same objectives.

"Because of that, there is always a bit of rivalry, but I don't see Wenger as any different to the Atletico manager when I was with Real [Madrid]."

Mourinho has gone 12 games unbeaten against Wenger, but he insists that he is "not proud" of his record against the Frenchman.

"For me an achievement is to win tomorrow," he added.

"It's not the other 12 matches that we played before against Arsenal. I don't look to this. I don't look to numbers. I don't look to what I did against this manager or that club."

Chelsea can take a massive step towards the Premier League title with a win this weekend, and can move 13 points clear of the Gunners with a victory.

Native Americans walk off Adam Sandler set

A group of Native American actors have walked off the set of an Adam Sandler comedy, claiming the film is "totally disrespectful" of Apache culture.

Sandler-scripted film The Ridiculous Six was shifted from Paramount to Netflix earlier this year as part of an exclusive four-film deal between the actor and the streaming service.

Nine actors quit the set of Western satire The Ridiculous Six this week over its portrayal of Native Americans.
But Netflix, which commissioned the film, said it was a "broad satire" intended to send up stereotypes.
"The movie has 'ridiculous' in the title for a reason: Because it is ridiculous," a Netflix statement said.
Actor Loren Anthony said producers ignored their concerns about the film's approach to Native American culture and the inappropriate use of props.
"Right from the get-go, it didn't feel right. But we let it go," the Navajo actor - an extra in the film - told the Associated Press.
"Once we found out more about the script, we felt it was totally disrespectful to elders and Native women," he added.
'Hollywood Indians'
Issues included offensive names for Native American women, such as Beaver's Breath and No Bra, and a scene which showed a Native American urinating while smoking a peace pipe.
Another extra, Goldie Tom, said producers on the New Mexico set told actors to leave if they were offended.
"This just shows that Hollywood has not changed at all," said actress Tom, referring to long-held issues between the Native American community and the US film industry.
"Nothing has changed," echoed Navajo actress Allison Young. "We are still just Hollywood Indians."
The group also protested about the use of non-Native Americans in Native American roles and other alleged inaccuracies. A Native American consultant on the film is understood to have walked out.
The Ridiculous Six is reportedly a satire of The Magnificent Seven.
The film, which stars Sandler, Taylor Lautner and Steve Buscemi, is the first of a four-film deal between Sandler and streaming service Netflix. It is co-written by Sandler and long-time collaborator Tim Herlihy, with whom he made film such as Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer and Mr Deeds.
"It is a broad satire of Western movies and the stereotypes they popularised, featuring a diverse cast that is not only part of - but in on - the joke," said the statement from Netflix.
Sandler's Happy Madison Productions has yet to comment.
"Our Native American culture and tradition is no joking matter,'' said outgoing Navajo Nation President Ben Shelly. "I applaud these Navajo actors for their courage and conviction to walk off the set in protest.'"
"Our dignity is not for sale," Native American actor David Hill - who left the set the week - told the Associated Press.

Only a Madrid miracle can stop Barcelona winning La Liga now

COMMENT: The 2-0 win for Luis Enrique's side in the Catalan derby at Espanyol leaves Real needing a flawless finish despite difficult games remaining - plus a favour from Atletico.

The title is edging ever closer to Barcelona. Luis Enrique's side swept aside city rivals Espanyol in a potentially tricky test on Saturday and are now in an almost unassailable position with five fixtures left in La Liga.

The Catalan derby is often a complicated clash for the Blaugrana, but this one was all but over after 25 minutes. Barca, with 80 per cent possession in the first half, created a number of chances early on and finally cracked their rivals' resistance as Neymar slotted home a magnificent move after 17 minutes.

Lionel Messi had dropped deep into midfield, once a sign of frustration for the Argentine attacker. Not now. These days, Messi moving into the centre of the park spells only one thing: danger. The 27-year's old fantastic forward pass for Jordi Alba completely opened up Espanyol's defence, the full-back squared, Luis Suarez dummied and Neymar netted from close range. It was a goal that summed up Luis Enrique's Barca at their brilliant best - and the visitors never looked back.

Another impressive move made it 2-0 eight minutes later and this time it was Messi on the scoresheet from a tight angle. Luis Suarez had been in an offside position, yet few could claim Barca didn't deserve it and even the strange sending off of Alba in the second half could not dampen the spirits of the Liga leaders as they remained on top to open up a five-point lead over Madrid ahead of the Blancos' visit to Celta Vigo on Sunday.

Celta have already beaten both Barca and Atletico this term and a trip to Balaidos will be no walk in the park for Carlo Ancelotti's side, who still have players out through injury and needed a monumenal effort to beat Diego Simeone's side in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Madrid (who need to finish level on points to claim the title courtesy of their superior head-to-head record in the two games against Barca) then face Almeria at home before a tough trip to Sevilla (unbeaten at the Sanchez Pizjuan in over a year) and a difficult date with Valencia at the Santiago Bernabeu - those two matches either side of their game at Juventus in the semi-finals of the Champions League. Ancelotti's men then close La Liga with a visit to Espanyol and a home game against Getafe.

Barca, meanwhile, have now come through the majority of their most difficult matches in the final straight, having claimed a draw at Sevilla, beaten Valencia last weekend and claimed all three points again on Saturday. Luis Enrique's side finish La Liga with Getafe at home, Cordoba away and Real Sociedad at Camp Nou, before their toughest test - a trip to the Vicente Calderon to face Atletico - and finally a return to the Catalan capital for the visit of Deportivo La Coruna on the last day of the season.

The game in Madrid comes just several days after the semi-final second leg away to Bayern Munich and could leave Barca tired, but rotations by Luis Enrique earlier this season have left the Catalans' far fresher than Madrid, with no major injury concerns either.

"We played our best first half of the championship," the Asturian coach said after the win against Espanyol. "The Liga's most important stretch is approaching now, but I don't think my players will lose concentation because of the Bayern tie."

And midfielder Andres Iniesta added: "All of our matches are finals now."

Barca cannot afford to slip up as La Liga reaches its climax, but all of their remaining fixtures are winnable (including the game against Atleti, beaten three times by Luis Enrique's side already in 2014-15).

Meanwhile, Real have it all to do with injuries, a much more difficult set of fixtures and a two-point deficit to make up as well, for which they will probably need a hand from Atletico. So only a Madrid miracle can stop Barca from winning La Liga now.
